We cultivate table grapes and pomegranate across 15 acres and rely heavily on venturi drip fertigation. We are currently evaluating 100% water-soluble fertilizers for the upcoming season.
Which fertilizer manufacturers in India provide the highest purity and lowest insoluble residue for grades like 19:19:19, 12:61:00 (MAP), and 00:00:50 (SOP)? We have experienced dripper clogging with certain local commercial batches in the past. Looking for objective comparisons between companies like IFFCO, Coromandel, Aries Agro, and Deepak Fertilisers.
💬 Responses & Technical Advice (1)
For drip fertigation, the critical parameter is the percentage of water-insoluble matter, which must be strictly below 0.5% (as per Fertilizer Control Order / FCO standards).
IFFCO: Excellent purity and pricing for standardized grades (19:19:19). High supply availability across cooperative networks.
Coromandel (Gromor): High consistency in specialty fertigation grades like 12:61:00 and Calcium Nitrate. Very low sodium content.
Aries Agro: Leading supplier for chelated micro-nutrients (EDTA/EDDHA) and customized specialty foliar nutrition.
Mahadhan (Deepak Fertilisers): Known for prilled and water-soluble specialty crops grades (Mahadhan Amruta line).
Always request a batch certificate verifying Heavy Metal and EC (electrical conductivity) ratings before purchasing in bulk.
