For 50% shade nets, ensure the fabric weight is at least 110 to 130 GSM. Lighter 80-90 GSM nets marketed as 50% frequently tear during seasonal windstorms and offer lower shading uniformity. Make sure the net is knitted via Raschel machines rather than woven so that cuts do not run or unravel.
