For 50% shade nets, ensure the fabric weight is at least 110 to 130 GSM. Lighter 80-90 GSM nets marketed as 50% frequently tear during seasonal windstorms and offer lower shading uniformity. Make sure the net is knitted via Raschel machines rather than woven so that cuts do not run or unravel.
Current factory rates for prime 100% virgin 50% green net (120 GSM) run between ₹14 and ₹19 per square meter.
